OBJECTIVE
The objective of this project was to rebrand and create packaging
for a new BBQ sauce featuring a unique combination of two flavours.
This involved designing a new logo, label, and packaging box. The
final design prominently featured an illustration representing the
flavour to enhance its appeal. Additionally, all packaging elements
were required to include information in both English and French to
ensure bilingual accessibility.
PROCESS
For this project, I began by developing the new brand identity for a
BBQ sauce, settling on the name ‘BBQ Jam’ to evoke a fun, musicinspired
theme that complements the spirit of barbequing. For the
flavor, Chilli Pepper and Honey, I designed a unique and eye-catching
illustration featuring a cartoon chili pepper lounging in a pot of
honey.
To ensure the design stood out on store shelves, I incorporated
vibrant colours that would grab attention. I added subtle music
symbols to the background to reinforce the brand’s musical theme
and create a cohesive, engaging design.
